Figure positions previously impossible to achieve with other armatures are now possible. You will no longer need bricks, sand bags, boards, piles of clay, tape, ropes, or cables to hold a sculpture in place.
The EXQUISITE Figure Armature has multiple uses.
Support figures in complex positions or with long legs
Support work being repaired
Use the armature as a hand rest when painting tiles or sculptures with underglazes, China paints, or lustres
Use the armature as a ruler or compass using Squeeze Pen underglazes, or underglaze pencils
Precise adjustments

Standard Features
Each unit comes with a cast aluminum wheelhead mounted on a solid steel shaft with two sealed bearings, for long-lasting smooth rotation. A locking eye-bolt stops the wheelhead from turning when necessary. Both the base pedestal and locking eye-bolt are zinc-plated.
The U-forks, rods, and poles are manufactured from solid stainless steel. For precise adjustments the U-forks and rods slide easily in and out of the Slide Clamp body.
The Slide Clamp is a unique Lockerbie product. Made of high grade anodized aluminum with two adjusting knobs and stainless steel screws, the unit is rustproof. This is an important feature when a sculpture and its entire armature assembly must be covered with a plastic bag to keep the work damp.
