Banding Wheels
The Lockerbie banding wheel is
available in three sizes. The 10" (A) or 14" (B) diameter work surface model each stands 5"
high.
There is also a tall model (C) with a 14" diameter top
that stands 10-1/4" high. The cast aluminum wheelhead
is secured to a stout 1" diameter shaft which is mounted
on two precision bearings. A locking bolt is standard on each banding
wheel to stop the wheelhead from spinning, for times when a fixed
position is required.
